Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what the game needs to work (your email, a display name, your clubs and results), we never sell it or run tracking or adverts, game-news email is optional with a one-click unsubscribe, and you can export or delete everything yourself from inside the game.
Who we are
Title Race Manager is run by Last Candle Studios (lastcandlestudios.com), an independent UK studio. For anything in this policy, email [email protected]. Last Candle Studios is the "data controller" for your information.
What we collect, and why
- Account: your email address, display name and a password hash (we use argon2id — we never store or see the password itself). Needed to run your account (legal basis: our contract with you). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google and store a Google account identifier — we never see your Google password.
- Game activity: your clubs, squads, results, forum posts, messages and votes — the game itself. (Contract.)
- Technical logs: IP addresses and request logs, kept briefly for security and debugging. (Legitimate interest: keeping the service working and abuse out.)
- Preferences: email settings, theme, notification choices. (Contract.)
We don't collect anything else. No advertising profiles, no analytics trackers, no data brokers.
Cookies
One cookie: the session that keeps you signed in. It's strictly necessary, so there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to. Theme and interface preferences live in your browser's local storage and never leave it.
Account emails (password resets, your club's fate, security notices) are part of running the service. Game news — new features, big events — only goes to players who opted in, and every one carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without logging in.
Where your data lives
- netcup GmbH (Germany) — our server, located in Vienna, Austria.
- Amazon Web Services (SES, London) — sends our email.
- Cloudflare — networking in front of the site, and forwarding for inbound email.
These providers process data on our instructions under their EU/UK data-processing terms. Your data stays in the UK/EU.
How long we keep it
Your account and game history: until you delete your account. Encrypted backups rotate on roughly a two-week cycle. Server logs are kept for days, not months.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you and delete your account — both are self-serve on the game's Billing & Account tab, no email required. You can also ask us to correct anything, object to processing, or complain to the ICO (the UK regulator) — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.
Age
Title Race Manager is for players aged 13 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll say so in the game and update the date above. The current version of this page is always the truth of what we do.
