Terms of service
The short version: the game is free to play; paid upgrades are optional. Play fair — one account, no cheating, no abuse. Cancel Pro whenever you like and keep it to the end of the paid month. Within 14 days of a first purchase we'll refund it if you ask. Your clubs and trophies are part of the game, not property. Be good to each other in the forums.
Who you're dealing with

The service
Title Race Manager is a browser-based multiplayer football management game. The full game is free. Optional paid tiers (below) add convenience and voice, never pay-to-win match advantage. The game is in active development: features change, balance changes, and — while we work hard to preserve game worlds — before version 1.0 we can't promise a world will never need resetting. If one ever does, we'll say so plainly and in advance wherever possible.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts in the same world ("multi-accounting") is cheating.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Billing & Account tab.
Fair play and conduct
The game only works if the competition is honest and the company is bearable. Don't: exploit bugs for advantage (report them instead — we're grateful), automate play, harass or abuse other managers in forums or messages, or post anything unlawful. We may moderate content and may suspend or close accounts that break these rules — with a warning where the breach is minor, immediately where it isn't. A closed account isn't refunded for time already used.
Paid tiers
- Pro — a monthly subscription (price shown at checkout), billed by Stripe until you cancel. Cancel any time from the Billing tab; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and nothing further is charged.
- Patron — a one-time payment for lifetime Pro benefits plus Patron extras. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of Title Race Manager, for as long as we operate it.
Changed your mind? On your first purchase of either tier you have 14 days to ask for a full refund — email us or reply to your receipt, no reason needed. After that, monthly payments already made aren't refunded (cancelling stops future ones), and the Patron payment is non-refundable once the 14 days pass. None of this limits your statutory rights as a UK/EU consumer.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. If we ever change a price, existing subscribers get clear notice before it affects them.
Your clubs, trophies and game things
Everything inside the game — clubs, players, trophies, budgets, the brass plaque — is part of a running simulation. It has no monetary value, can't be sold or transferred outside the game, and may be affected by balance changes. What you write (forum posts, messages, club names) stays yours; you give us the licence needed to display it in the game, and we can remove content that breaks the conduct rules.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the game up and your data safe (including daily off-site backups), but this is an independent project provided "as is" — we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded.
Ending things
You can stop playing or delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, and may retire the service itself — if that day ever comes, we'll give as much notice as we can and wind down with dignity.
Changes and the law
If these terms change materially we'll announce it in the game and update the date above; continuing to play after that means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes belong to the Scottish courts — though we'd much rather sort things out by email first.
