Title Race Manager
A living football world, one matchday a day
Title Race Manager is a persistent multiplayer football management game played in the browser. It is free to play, made by Last Candle Studios, and it revives a genre that mostly disappeared with Football Manager Live: a shared world where the other managers are real people.
The world
- 640 clubs across eight regions, each with four divisions, promotion and relegation.
- The world runs on the real clock: one game week per real day — league matches in the evening, cup matches in the morning. A full season takes about five weeks.
- Domestic cups, a Challenge Cup, a Shield, a Super Cup, and a Champions Cup with a home-and-away league phase and two-legged knockouts.
- Every club, player and match persists — careers run from academy debut to the hall of fame.
The football
- A physical match engine simulates every pass, tackle, header and save — no dice-roll results.
- Watch any match as a 2D replay with commentary, heatmaps, pass networks, player ratings and momentum graphs.
- A deep tactics editor: roles with fit scores, fifteen team instructions, set-piece routines, and per-fixture match plans with conditional rules.
The people
- Human managers and AI managers share one job market — both get hired, sacked, poached and outvoted.
- A generated newspaper, agents, boards with expectations, fans with moods, forums and direct messages.
- The rulebook is democratic: each season managers propose and ratify changes to their world's actual rules — squad caps, playoff formats, disciplinary thresholds, even cup names.
What it costs
The full game is free, including the match engine, transfers, tactics and cup competitions, with one managed club. Pro (£3.99/month) adds up to three parallel clubs, rule-change voting, the Analyst's Desk, and club customisation. Patron (£49, one payment) is Pro for life plus extras. Nothing paid ever buys match advantage.
